Our favorite VBT trip to date. The cultural experience rivaled the well planned cycling routes. Time spent on and off the bicycle created lasting memories for joyful reflection.

This was one of the best VBT tours we have taken. Food, riding, scenery, exploration of the art of Dali, wonderful guides and fantastic accommodations. Pre-trip in Barcelona is a must do to see the Gaudi architecture and Picasso museum as well as experience Catalonia at its best.

We loved this trip! Beautiful and varied biking routes; knowledgeable, competent and engaging guides, top-notch hotels, delicious food and interesting cultural activities. I wish I could do it all over again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first VBT experience. The tour route was very well laid out and we cannot not say enough about how impressive our tour leaders, David and Frederico, both of whom are natives of Portugal. Kudos to VBT for the way they planned and conducted our tour!

The cities of Girona and Empuries provided interesting cultural context to the trip. Easy access to Barcelona before or after the trip also added a significant plus to the trip. The only slight downside were the routes that had a bit more traffic than expected. Accommodations were great.

This was the first time my husband and I did a cycling trip in Europe and we could not have asked for a better experience! We were VBT fans before making a deposit because their website provided all the information we needed to decide about going with them such as the route, mileage, elevation, hotels, and other things we could see and do. Not all tour companies made such a good first impression! Then VBT delivered with excellent pre-trip communication, fabulous bike routes with explicit Ride with GPS instructions and interesting things to see along the way, plus the hotels were just lovely! Our favorite hotel, Hostal Spa Empuries, which we stayed an extra two nights after the trip was finished because the location on the beach with a short walk in both directions to small towns along a lovely foot/bike path was so ideal. We want to cycle in Greece next year and after looking at many tour companies it is going to be VBT again because we feel secure in knowing they have planned a wonderful trip and they will take care of us. They can even give you a longer route if you want more miles on any given day that works into the schedule. God willing, I don't think Greece is going to be our last VBT trip!

Didn’t have any idea this trip would be SO spectacular! The hotels were top notch, the riding was exquisite and the two guides couldn’t have been better! I mean it! They were the best of the best!

Mallorca is an incredible island with much to appreciate. The biking was well-planned with great cultural additions like the wineries, parks and salt mines. The scenery was gorgeous and the people very helpful and friendly. Our guides were top-notch! They made the trip very special for all of us and their knowledge and love of the area was apparent. I highly recommend this trip—you won’t be disappointed!

Perfect trip, VBT staff/guides above and beyond!!!

This trip was the perfect combination of biking and cruising. The Emerald Radiance was a top-notch level Riverboat with a crew that felt like family by the end of the trip. The rooms were small but had every important amenity. In the evening were entertained by local dancers and singers that were an excellent representation of the local culture. This trip should be on everyone’s list.

Nick and Roman made the trip so special. They were there to meet our every need and gave us of themselves. The biking is superlative and the lodging very unique and memorable

Great way to experience Andalusia from rural, small town, big city. Very much impressed with it all.

The itinerary for this trip was very well thought out. The local guides, Diego and Pol, were beyond great. I would rate this trip as moderate, but you could elect to skip portions of the hikes to make it easier. The accommodations along the Camino were originally monasteries. The trip was so much fun. Thank you, Diego and Pol.

Another great experience with CW, this time in Northern Spain. Top quality guides (who were also a lot of fun), carefully curated walks (including parts of the various Caminos), interesting and authentic places to stay and great meals, especially the fantastic lunches (in places we would never have found). The walks were accurately rated at easy to moderate. Overall, a fantastic vacation - I learned a lot about Northern Spain and had a great time doing it.

Our Majorca hike couldn’t have been improved. We loved our experienced guides, the perfect size and congeniality of our group, our well planned daily schedules and our comfortable accommodations.
