Our favorite VBT trip to date. The cultural experience rivaled the well planned cycling routes. Time spent on and off the bicycle created lasting memories for joyful reflection.

We loved this trip! The scenery, the biking routes, the guides, the accommodations were all fanatastic. We liked the other guests, the fabulous breakfasts and particularly loved our post trip to Mallorca.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first VBT experience. The tour route was very well laid out and we cannot not say enough about how impressive our tour leaders, David and Frederico, both of whom are natives of Portugal. Kudos to VBT for the way they planned and conducted our tour!

Good riding in an area that pro racers train. The Girona area is a road cycling mecca. Drivers are contentious with cyclists and the roads are bike friendly. The hotels were all epic.

Lodging was fantastic. Self guided app was spot on and would ding if you were 10 feet off course. I'm hooked. Coming back

This outstanding trip was expertly organized, with every detail delivered to provide the rider with great value, beautiful scenery and a genuine opportunity to experience the Mallorca and the people who call it home. Both guides were very knowledgeable, sincere and consistently went above and beyond to provide the very best experience possible for each member member of our group. Having taken several other trips with other outfitters, I would unreservedly recommend VBT for pre-trip, during and post trip service, value regarding accommodations and the exceptional support provided through the guides and office staff. All of my future trips will be booked through VBT and I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks for a truly exceptional experience.

The biking trip through Mallorca was incredible! The guides (Bibi and Hania) did an amazing job of coordinating the rides and giving us thorough information about what we would be experiencing. I highly recommend this trip!

It was wonderful to visit rural parts of the Douro Valley on e-bikes. I was impressed with the challenging and scenic rides mixed with local tours to olive press, winery, port warehouse, and medieval city tour. We liked not having to pack our bags every morning for a hotel move and it was nice getting to know the service staff on the boat. Well done!

Having been on many VBT trips, this one didn't quite measure up. Two problems: 1) the E- bike was very heavy and as a small woman was difficult to manage and get on and off. You do need an E-bike though as many long hills. Number 2 was Portugal itself. There wasn't much to see or do in comparison to other European trips, esp. the bike and barge trips. Here, no cute towns to explore and for the first 4 days the scenery was mostly uninspiring. Also, difficult logistics catching the river boat.The guides and boat were excellent but couldn't compensate for a trip with little off-road interest.

This was the best VBT trip I've had. Great biking,and mix of culture. Excellent unique hotels,and our guides were extremely fun and happy to share their culture.

I had a wonderful time on the VBT Andalusian Spain trip and would highly recommend this trip to anyone who might be interested. The scenery is beautiful and the towns we visited had so much history. Our guides could not have been better. They made the trip both fun and safe. I went solo and felt like I gained 18 new friends. The food and lodging were top notch and the rides were totally manageable even for someone who is not an avid rider - but if you have a doubt about your abilities rent an E-bike and your worries will be over!

The tour was outstanding in every way. The two guides were excellent. My only complaint is with the travel arrangements which were resolved, I believe, only because I complained vociferously. .

Loved this tour! The guides, Hille and Isabel, were knowledgeable about Mallorca and Deia, and shared the information in an interesting manner; plus they were highly competent group leaders who were fun, funny and upbeat. Fellow hikers were friendly and interesting, and as a group we created a comfortable esprit de corps. The hiking was designated as easy to moderate, with seemingly something for everyone in the group - stronger hikers often took the lead while others walked at a slower pace. The 4 - 5 star accommodations were extremely comfortable and the food was fantastic (and a lot more than most of us usually consume)! This was my first hiking tour, and I look forward to doing another.

The itinerary, trails, meals and lodging were top notch, complimented by the best two guides we have ever had....they missed no opportunity to please.
