VBT never disappoints. This was my 4th trip with VBT and it was fantastic. Our guides Oriol and Martin were outstanding. Loved the visit to the Dali Museum and came away with a new appreciation for his work. The landscapes were beautiful and the visit to the cider company was fun. The post trip in Mallorca was a pleasure.

Scenery, riding history, art, food - it has it all
This was one of the best VBT tours we have taken. Food, riding, scenery, exploration of the art of Dali, wonderful guides and fantastic accommodations. Pre-trip in Barcelona is a must do to see the Gaudi architecture and Picasso museum as well as experience Catalonia at its best.

What a Great Tour!
We thoroughly enjoyed our first VBT experience. The tour route was very well laid out and we cannot not say enough about how impressive our tour leaders, David and Frederico, both of whom are natives of Portugal. Kudos to VBT for the way they planned and conducted our tour!

Can't wait to do another one!
This was my first trip with VBT. I was not disappointed. We did the self-guided tour and it was absolutely amazing. The GPS app worked like a dream and we felt very confident that we would not get lost. The level of ride was perfect and the routes were well thought out for traffic, sightseeing, landscapes, and food/water. Our baggage was moved every 'move-on' day without any problems. The staff was responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We felt safe and looked out for the entire time.

June '23 VBT ride through Costa Brava-
We loved our self guided tour around Costa Brava. Accomodations were very nice. We especially liked the 1600's Farmhouse with the outstanding restaurant. The rides were very pleasant and vehicles were very respectful of cyclists. All the people we encountered were very kind and helpful. .

Mallorca is a cycling gem
The trip to Mallorca was outstanding. The cycling is on quiet country roads. Mallorca is a major cycling destination and you are joined on the roads by pro cycling teams and individual cyclists of all skill levels. This creates an environment where drivers are aware of and prepared for cyclists. The hotels are first rate and the food, especially the fish and seafood, is excellent. Above all, the trip leaders were amazing. They were always prepared and supportive and able to adjust to any unexpected events. They ensured that the trip ran like clockwork and kept the guests informed of every detail of the days schedule. Highly recommend for cyclists of all experience levels.

A splendid excursion
Wonderful trip led by outstanding guides Jose and Juantxo. Mallorca was beautiful especially along the seaside. The trip featured lush hotels with enormous breakfast buffets and frequent side excursions - a winery tour, olive oil farm, and salt factory. Mallorcan drivers are unusually tolerant of cyclists often waiting patiently for their turn to pass us on narrow, hilly, and twisting roads.

Great Riding, Guides and Food
Thus was our 13th VBT trip and the combination of biking and a small cruise ship was wonderful. I had not anticipated the great food options on the ship. The guides, Manuel and Matayas, were amonst the pantheon of great VBT guides. The biking was challenging, but the electrics were appreciated by my 80 year old body. The roads were mostly low traffic. loved the lunches in the small towns on the daily rides. The bus rides to the rides were like a thrill ride at Disneyland-big bus-little road.

Great Trip
I enjoyed the trip. The rides were well conceived and challenging - except for those several towns with the coblestone streets.

VBT Andalusia trip
This trip could not have been better. Bikes, guides, hotels, food, history, culture, tours to the prime sights, transports ; all organized and pulled off smoothly, down to small details. The guides were special. Knowledgeable, friendly, organized, encouraging, calm, and just fun to be around. We lost a passport in Cordoba and within an hour the guides tracked it down and saved some huge hassles for us. I don’t typically write reviews, but this trip was just too good.

Excellent in every respect!
This tour is excellent. The biking routes are interesting and offer challenge for all levels, with the option of a ride in the van always there for bikers who want to avoid some hills or just need a rest. The scenery is spectacular. The tour has a perfect combination of ride days and tour days. Our trip leaders were bright, personable, competent and a fun, integral part of the group. The hotels, food, and cultural events tied it all together. I highly recommend this tour. I want to go back tomorrow!

Fabulous Trip!
We loved this trip - which was the first for this itinerary. Our guides were wonderful, very knowledgeable, and adapted easily when the weather didn’t cooperate. We hiked gorgeous country, learned a lot, and made friends with great people. The accommodations were outstanding, as was the food. We had looked forward to an Camino adventure for years, and this trip did not disappoint!

Slice of Heaven!
Challenging and interesting hikes each day, gorgeous hotels, delicious local foods, educational and caring guides, variety of locations and experiences. I LOVED this trip to beautiful and historic Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, off the coast of Spain!

Mallorca Tour
This was a trip of a lifetime. We loved all of the small towns we visited and each of the walks. The hotels were great and the food was delicious. We loved the tour of the salt mine along with the vineyard and orchard groves. The guides were knowledgable, helpful and energetic. The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was the timing of our pre-tour stay - over labor day which meant many sights were closed in Palma and created over crowding for the remaining sights and restaurants. The grounds at the Port de Soller hotel were great as were the amenities, however the room was a bit dated and the shower was difficult to use. However, we would consider even doing this tour again if the itinerary was slightly different.
