Our favorite VBT trip to date. The cultural experience rivaled the well planned cycling routes. Time spent on and off the bicycle created lasting memories for joyful reflection.

We loved this trip! The scenery, the biking routes, the guides, the accommodations were all fanatastic. We liked the other guests, the fabulous breakfasts and particularly loved our post trip to Mallorca.

We thoroughly enjoyed our first VBT experience. The tour route was very well laid out and we cannot not say enough about how impressive our tour leaders, David and Frederico, both of whom are natives of Portugal. Kudos to VBT for the way they planned and conducted our tour!

We loved this trip! Beautiful and varied biking routes; knowledgeable, competent and engaging guides, top-notch hotels, delicious food and interesting cultural activities. I wish I could do it all over again!

We just returned from a wonderful self guided trip through Costa Brava. The hotels were perfect, great locations for exploring and wonderful amenities. The routes led us through beautiful countryside, panoramic views and charming medieval villages. Only suggestion would be to search for additional routes as we road the same road section 3x!!!! A few routes were a little nerve racking with high speed traffic, but VBT kept those sections short and we were well warned with the Ride with GPS app. The app with voice directions was very easy to follow. Overall this was a great trip filled with fun memories.

Wonderful place to visit! Lodging was fine and the logistics well organized and easy to follow. Welcome team was very knowledgable and helpful. Equipment was first rate and performed flawlessly.

In Spring, after Eastertime, gorgeous countryside, patient and accommodating guides, good bikes, hotels, and gourmand-worthy cuisine; Fascinating visits to a unique vineyard, olive press, and salt factory. Of course having good fortune with the group of people and the weather made it special. Would do it again!

Great trip, from start to finish. This is our third VBT tour and we'll be back for more. VBT tour guides were great -- welcoming, supportive, knowledgeable, friendly and fun. They know the country and also the routes to ensure that the biking experience is without stress. A lot of easy biking but enough moderate to make it interesting. More challenging biking is an option, but totally at your own discretion (steep uphill to a lighthouse overlooking the bay as an example which was an option at the end of the day, as an example). Hotels were good, to really good. Each year they can change based not only on performance during the prior season but availability. Hotel C'an Bonico was a standout. VBT attracts people who are adventurous and engaging.

This trip was the perfect combination of biking and cruising. The Emerald Radiance was a top-notch level Riverboat with a crew that felt like family by the end of the trip. The rooms were small but had every important amenity. In the evening were entertained by local dancers and singers that were an excellent representation of the local culture. This trip should be on everyone’s list.

Trip #2 with VBT and once again the entire tour exceeded my expectations. The towns of Spain via bike were breathless. The leaders were knowledgeable, friendly, fun and organized. Loved by Trip #2 and plan to do more......

We visited Andalucia Spain with VBT in Nov. 2012. This was our 24th bicycling trip with VBT and was our best trip yet! Andalucia is more scenic than we ever imagined and the bicycling along rural roads and trails is the best way to experience this area. The longer cycling routes offered each day were through rolling hills with sweeping vistas overlooking olive orchards as far as the eye could see and small white-housed villages nestled in the hill-sides. Andalucia offers many cultural and historic attractions in Seville, Cordoba and Granada that make this a very enriching and rewarding trip.

Our trip was personal and wonderful from beginning to end!

The Country Walkers Landscapes from the Camino de Santiago trip was outstanding. Country Walker guides Diego Del Barrio and Pol Roig Iniesta were extremely knowledgeable, organized, and capable leaders. On scale of 1 to 10, I rate both guides a 10. The various hikes and village tours were very interesting and completed as scheduled. The hotel or parador accommodations were all outstanding. Food was plentiful and exceptionally good.

I had high expectations for the Mallorca tour, as the Puglia tour I took last year with Country Walkers set my expectations accordingly, and I was not disappointed. All aspects of the tour were excellent: the wonderful and knowledgeable guides (Helle and Juanjo), the beautiful hotels, the included meals, the side-trips/events, and of course, the fabulous walking/hiking trails. The itinerary was very well designed and managed professionally, with a combination of easy, moderate, and a few challenging hikes. The towns and small cities we visited were all lovely. In all, the tour was all I hoped it would be, and more.

The itinerary, trails, meals and lodging were top notch, complimented by the best two guides we have ever had....they missed no opportunity to please.
