Latvia

Great trip! Interesting countries, terrific guides, nice scenery, and fascinating history in this little area of Europe. The bike routes were well planned and the bikes themselves (we used e bikes) were terrific. The trip is rated Easy but I was really glad to have an e-bike for some sections, particularly the rolling hillside through Lithuania. We also enjoyed the food and the included tours, and the accommodations were all very good—especially the Kempinski in Vilnius and the Grand Palace Hotel in Riga! Don’t hesitate to book this trip!

I can't think of a single thing to criticize about the trip. The three leaders were friendly, gracious and attentive. We got a nice introduction to the history and culture of these countries without it being overly detailed. The accomodations were top notch and meals superb. The countryside beautiful with little to no traffic. Do prepare for some rain. I have no problem recommending this bike tour of Lithuania and Latvia.

What a wonderful trip! From the outstanding hotels, to the beautiful scenery, and amazingly wonderful food. This trip was a winner. And to top it off we had two of the most amazing and knowledgeable guides, one from Lithuania and one from Latvia who were masterful at getting our group through it all, without a hiccup. Truly a great and memorable trip!

This was my first tour with Country Walkers and I really enjoyed it. We stayed at very nice hotels and had good food included. Our tour guides Kristina and Mindaugas were excellent. They provided a lot of interesting information and color about Lithuania and Latvia. And they provided for everything we needed. I enjoyed talking to them during the trip. I liked the variety included in the tour. We got to see the three capital cities with the extension to Tallinn. And we got to some smaller towns and stayed in the Latvian countryside too. The tour of the market in Riga by the chef was excellent. The tour exceeded my expectations and I look forward to trying another Country Walkers tour in the future.
