I don’t even know where to begin to review our time on our self guided bike tour in Croatia. This was our first go at a self guided ride and it could not have gone better first of all our guide Andrej, was excellent. He was right where he should be at every moment, when not with us, he answered any questions we had. He is knowledgeable of the area and especially the history as he is from there, and we felt very lucky to have him. The bikes were excellent. We had enough gear to ride all of the hills, the rides were Varied fun and challenging, some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever ridden in. Thank you, Vbt for an amazing adventure. We can’t wait to travel with you again. PS. Make sure to stay on either before or after your excursion to walk the wall in Dubrovnik!

Croatia is an incredibly beautiful country. I loved everything about it. The sea, countryside, walled cities, vineyards, olive groves and the overall hospitality by the locals. I will definitely come back to explore the islands and nearby countries. VBT did a great job of planning a 6 day itinerary and Adreaj was a fantastic host. With that being said I DO NOT think the trip was a great value. In fact it was overpriced for what we received. The first 3 hotel nights were nice but adequate. The 3 nights we spent at the Marko Polo were subpar. The grounds and facilities were fine but the rooms were low budget, outdated with mold in the shower. Since the trip was self guided we were on our own for all expenses. If VBT had included a dinner with a local host or a local tour the trip would have felt more enriched. We ended our trip at the beach at a beautiful hotel in Dubrovnik. We loved the area and stayed an extra night. I also have mixed feelings on the biking. We lost two days due to rain and high winds. One day we biked from Orebic' to Loviste. It was absolutely beautiful. The roads had very little traffic but were windy two lane roads with no shoulder. Climbs were two miles, challenging even with an e-bike. The last part of the ride was right along the sea on a bike path. The other day we biked in Korcula 2 short rides. We biked to the beach and through vineyards and olive groves. Just know Croatia is very hilly so be prepared for a challenge even with an e-bike. This is my second trip with VBT. My first trip also had subpar hotels.The next time I plan a bike trip I will be researching other companies.

This was my first trip with VBT and will definitely NOT be my last. This was the most relaxing, inspiring, fun vacation I have had in years. The support team makes it incredibly easy, effortless, to unplug and jump into vacation mode. The yacht's crew went above and beyond to meet my dietary needs, and the Captain was highly competent, food was great, accommodations were outstanding. But, what really made this trip one to remember for a lifetime was the bike support crew. My tour hit the jackpot! Mario and Duje's humor, kindness, safety consciousness, and overall AWESOMENESS was unlike any tour support personnel I have ever had. They really made this trip for everyone onboard. I don't know if they have had any raises lately, but they deserve them! They also spoke very highly of VBT as a company - it's culture, values, and dedication to the communities and customers they serve. Outstanding vacation. Worth every penny.

Just about everything about this trip was excellent. Great tour leaders, beautiful scenery, capable and helpful crew, terrific bike rides, lovely ship. Perfect weather. The one thing that was subpar was the food on the boat. Beautifully presented but poorly cooked.

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. I am ready for the next VBT trip! Amazing trip! Thank you.

Wowsa, what a wonderful adventure. We explored the Dalmatian Islands on beautiful scenic roads... and most importantly from the comfort of e-bikes, which made the "rolling hills" a little easier to ride. Our guides did an outstanding job from day one. Highly recommend this trip!

This experience with Country Walkers was absolutely outstanding. I had heard great things about CW from friends who have been on different CW tours (almost all of the participants in this tour had done multiple CW tours before), and this tour did not disappoint. I understand why CW has so many repeat clients, and I will definitely be one of them! The guides, Irene and Vida, were just superb - knowledgable, thoughtful, funny, and incredibly helpful. They made the tour! The entire group gelled with them perfectly and their good humor and enthusiasm for their countries were so admirable. I learned so much about the complex history of the region, and the combination of walking and talking was just right every day. The accommodations everywhere were first class and lovely, and the arranged group meals just right. I honestly cannot think of one thing that could have made this experience better. Another special shoutout to Vida and Irene, who were both spectacular and worked so well together. Already looking forward to many more CW experiences! thank you for a great week.

From having caring and knowledgeable guides to great companions, beautiful hikes, great places to eat and stay, it was a wonderful trip.

We had a great trip thanks in a large part to our guides and our Croatian hosts! Dani and Dani were a great guiding team, who adapted the itinerary to meet our needs. They were thoughtful, informative and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this trip. You will learn so much about the wonderful and beautiful Dalmatian coast.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!
