Fantastic trip. The bike routes were beautiful and fun and the GPS was easy to use. Our itinerary was perfect and our host was great. You will not regret this trip. E-bike was a life saver!

I just returned from a VBT cycling trip, and while the cycling routes and views were absolutely stunning, the hotel accommodations were some of the worst I’ve ever experienced on a group trip. The first two hotels were dirty, poorly maintained, and nowhere near the “4-star” standard advertised. Linens were stained, bathrooms smelled of sewage or urine, drains were clogged, and even the pools had visible mold. These properties were closer to budget motels than quality hotels, and the going nightly rates were a fraction of what we paid through VBT. By the time we reached the third hotel, which was finally nice, it felt like an insult that we only got one night there after five nights of subpar conditions. Other travelers in our group felt the same way and were equally disappointed. The cycling itself was fantastic, but the accommodations were a huge letdown and made the trip feel like a poor value. Unless VBT seriously improves the quality of its hotel partners, I would not travel with them again.

Everything was top notch the food, accommodations the tours and destinations, the bikes and the boat Futura were fabulous, and our 3 guides were amazing, will tell everyone of my friends about this VBT trip!

This was our 3rd VBT trip and we loved exploring Crotia which included the pre and post trips. Staying on the Maritino was a great way to visit so many islands. The accommodations in Split and Dubrovnik were outstanding. Very thankful for the e-bike as the territory is quite hilly but spectacular rides. All three of our guides were excellent, each with their own distinct personalities that complimeneted each other. The only disappointment were the dinners on the Maritimo. Breakfast and lunch were great; however, I felt guilty not finishing the dinners which were often bland and/or repetitive with fish.

Wowsa, what a wonderful adventure. We explored the Dalmatian Islands on beautiful scenic roads... and most importantly from the comfort of e-bikes, which made the "rolling hills" a little easier to ride. Our guides did an outstanding job from day one. Highly recommend this trip!

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. I am ready for the next VBT trip! Amazing trip! Thank you.

The guides were very well informed and attentive, the itinerary was just right for experiencing this beautiful place. We were able to accelerate our pace on certain of the walking routes which worked well for some walkers. A great experience overall.

This was a wonderful trip to start traveling again! Even with lots of rain at the start, we had beautiful scenery and good temperatures. The group was wonderfully good natured, and the guides were fantastic. Irena and Matej knew so much about both countries in terms of geography and history and culture! They went, well, literally above and beyond? The castle wasn't even on the itinerary, and now I know all the best gelaterias in the area. I look forward to making more memories and friends on a future Country Walkers adventure.

This walking tour was awesome. The different venues, hikes and lodging was all terrific . The single factor that made the trip so good, were the two Guides. Dani and Dani were so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and their trips to lunches and meals and wine tasting, at various venues were remarkable. Getting to know some of the locals at these venues, and visiting places off the beaten path, were one of the high points, in my view.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!
