Great bike trip. The self-guided option was planned out perfectly. Andre was excellent and provided excellent care for us. Definitely glad I had an e-bike on this tour. Very very challenging mountains even on an electric bike 😊

Our trip was super fun. The places were beautiful and interesting and the trip was well-planned and well-mapped. The Adriatic Sea is super clean here for great swimming after our biking trips.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our Croatia: Split & the Dalmatian Islands bike-&-boat trip was nothing short of magical — and that’s largely thanks to our incredible guides, Julian, Peter, and Matiya. From Day 1, they set the tone: welcoming, knowledgeable, and always enthusiastic. Julian had a gift for weaving in little local stories and historical tidbits that brought each stop to life. Matiya was our technical guru — ensuring bikes were tuned, giving helpful route tips, and always ready with encouragement when hills got steep. Peter’s warm spirit and attentive care made everyone feel comfortable, whether helping with logistics, meal plans, or just chatting about hidden gems off the beaten path. The itinerary was spectacular: biking across islands, stopping at olive farms, wine tastings, savoring traditional Croatian dishes, and swimming in turquoise bays — the variety was perfect. The balance between active days and relaxing evenings on the yacht was just right. What truly made this trip shine was how seamless it all felt. The guides anticipated needs before we knew we had them, smoothed over any bumps with humor and grace, and created a sense of camaraderie in the group. They turned a scenic journey into a deeply personal experience. If you want to see Croatia in its most beautiful, authentic form — and be led by guides who make every moment better — this is the trip to take. Fantastic week with VBT in Croatia in mid-October 2024! Everything was top notch, well organized and fun. The e-bikes were great and easy to use and learn. Unless you're a serious biker, I would recommend the e-bikes because the islands are hilly and not something I'd want to climb on a regular road bike. The local guides were the absolute best. Knowledgeable, helpful, extremely flexible and patient, and a lot of fun. Don't expect to be busting your butt with long days of biking. If anything, I wish there would have been more biking. The trip is as much enjoying the boat and the small island towns and it's amenities than it is biking. Food? C'mon. Every meal was awesome. A+ all around!! On top of the VBT experience, the Croatian people are friendly, helpful and laid back and their country is beautiful!

This was a fantastic trip taken at the perfect time of the year in September. We were able to ride, swim and dine in gorgeous settings every day. The chance to meet the locals in their homes for dinners and to hear of their lives in Croatia was priceless. We were very fortunate to have two excellent guides in Nevenka and Natasha; they were both so knowledgeable and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for better leaders!

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. I am ready for the next VBT trip! Amazing trip! Thank you.

The entire experience was terrific. This trip consisted of full days of beautiful walks and a variety of interesting and fun activities. The hotels were amazing; each room had beautiful views and were fully equipped. The group size was perfect and we all got along very well. The icing on the cake was, without a doubt, the exceptional leadership of Vida and Dani. They are incredibly warm, kind, knowledgeable, fun and attentive in all the right ways. I would follow them anywhere.

This was my first Country Walker Walking Tour. We were invited by friends who had do several of the tour previously. Wow! This was an amazing trip. Has to be one of my all time favorites. The countries were stunningly beautiful, the weather was perfect, and it was better than advertised. The guides, Vida and Irena were fabulous and extremely proud of their respective countries. We loved their passion and enthusiam for their work. They were organzied and very helpful in every circumstance. Again, an A+. The tour itself was well done, the accomandation were first class, the food was amazing, and the hikes were as described. We have already vowed to take another Country Walker Tour, maybe even back to Croatia!

This walking tour was awesome. The different venues, hikes and lodging was all terrific . The single factor that made the trip so good, were the two Guides. Dani and Dani were so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and their trips to lunches and meals and wine tasting, at various venues were remarkable. Getting to know some of the locals at these venues, and visiting places off the beaten path, were one of the high points, in my view.

We had a great trip thanks in a large part to our guides and our Croatian hosts! Dani and Dani were a great guiding team, who adapted the itinerary to meet our needs. They were thoughtful, informative and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this trip. You will learn so much about the wonderful and beautiful Dalmatian coast.
