Croatia

Our self guided trip was fantastic! Terrific in country support provided by Andre made it easy to cycle along the beautiful Croatian roads and explore an amazing country. Great GPS!

This was our first VBT tour - the cycling, scenery and support from Andrej was excellent. Unfortunately, the value for the accommodations was lacking. Two out of three hotels were not what we would have expected for the cost. While we thoroughly enjoyed Croatia and the cycling, we will be looking for alternative tour operators in the future.

What an amazing way to see the country side and experience the true culture. The boat experience was beyond expectations to see Croatia from the sea and the EBIKE tour gave one the beauty out to the sea from the land. The tour guides worked hard to alter the course as we encountered rain and they worked with the crew on the boat to make this experience wonderful and memorable. Will be a challenge to find another trip that tops this trip!

An absolutely incredible trip on all accounts. Accommodations(boat) were top notch, leaders were fun, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Food was 5 star restaurant. Bikes were great..not heavy and had plenty of power if needed. The 2 hotels we stayed at were perfect and one was even a 5 star. I would recommend this trip to anybody.

The Croatia bike trip was simply outstanding. First and foremost, we could not have gotten better guides from Croatia to show us the islands of Hvar and Brac. The culture, the scenery, the comraderie could not have been better. Plus we learned how to ascend and descend rather large hills! Would absolutely do it again.

This was an absolutely delightful experience. I am very impressed with VBT's way of supporting the local economy by hiring local guides, and setting up dinners with locals. Our hotels were great, the guides were wonderful, and i learned so much about local culture and history. Our guides, Mario and Neven, are just wonderful people and so helpful fun to be around.

The guides were very well informed and attentive, the itinerary was just right for experiencing this beautiful place. We were able to accelerate our pace on certain of the walking routes which worked well for some walkers. A great experience overall.

Country Walkers crafted the perfect itinerary for Slovenia and Croatia. Each phase of the trip was carefully selected right down to the selection of high end hotels, meals in interesting restaurants and side trips which we actually enjoyed such a fun wine tasting and a truffle hunt. The walks were all scenic but within the range of difficulty promised. Our guides were knowledgeable, pleasant and caring. We have traveled extensively but this was our first Country Walkers trip and we will definitely travel with them again. Every participant on our trip extended either before or after. That is something to keep in mind.

We had a great trip thanks in a large part to our guides and our Croatian hosts! Dani and Dani were a great guiding team, who adapted the itinerary to meet our needs. They were thoughtful, informative and knowledgable. I would highly recommend this trip. You will learn so much about the wonderful and beautiful Dalmatian coast.

This walking tour was awesome. The different venues, hikes and lodging was all terrific . The single factor that made the trip so good, were the two Guides. Dani and Dani were so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and their trips to lunches and meals and wine tasting, at various venues were remarkable. Getting to know some of the locals at these venues, and visiting places off the beaten path, were one of the high points, in my view.
