The beauty of the Dalmation Islands is stunning. Very scenic views of the Adriatic Sea and coastal villages. Routes were along quiet, well maintained, but narrow roads without shoulders. That said, motorists were courteous and I never felt unsafe. The two long routes had challenging hill climbs for analog road bikes. We went in May, before the summer tourist season, a good choice.

I don’t even know where to begin to review our time on our self guided bike tour in Croatia. This was our first go at a self guided ride and it could not have gone better first of all our guide Andrej, was excellent. He was right where he should be at every moment, when not with us, he answered any questions we had. He is knowledgeable of the area and especially the history as he is from there, and we felt very lucky to have him. The bikes were excellent. We had enough gear to ride all of the hills, the rides were Varied fun and challenging, some of the most beautiful country I’ve ever ridden in. Thank you, Vbt for an amazing adventure. We can’t wait to travel with you again. PS. Make sure to stay on either before or after your excursion to walk the wall in Dubrovnik!

Croatia bike and boat was outstanding! We enjoyed using the boat as our 'Floating Hotel" and were very pleased with the food prepared by the chef. Our leaders, Neven and Julian, were caring, responsive and fun. The rides were challenging but so beautiful. The people we met in Croatia were friendly and the little towns and villages were charming. Great trip!

This was a great boat and bike trip, beautiful rides, top notch equipment, great guides and the boat and food were amazing!

Wowsa, what a wonderful adventure. We explored the Dalmatian Islands on beautiful scenic roads... and most importantly from the comfort of e-bikes, which made the "rolling hills" a little easier to ride. Our guides did an outstanding job from day one. Highly recommend this trip!

VBT Croatia was a fantastic experience. Our trip exceeded our expectations and my adult son said it was a “trip of a lifetime!” It was a perfect blend of guided and self guided. The guides had great personalities and created a great experience! I loved the variation of experiences, loved the food recommendations, loved the scenery and loved all the group interaction. This experience with Country Walkers was absolutely outstanding. I had heard great things about CW from friends who have been on different CW tours (almost all of the participants in this tour had done multiple CW tours before), and this tour did not disappoint. I understand why CW has so many repeat clients, and I will definitely be one of them! The guides, Irene and Vida, were just superb - knowledgable, thoughtful, funny, and incredibly helpful. They made the tour! The entire group gelled with them perfectly and their good humor and enthusiasm for their countries were so admirable. I learned so much about the complex history of the region, and the combination of walking and talking was just right every day. The accommodations everywhere were first class and lovely, and the arranged group meals just right. I honestly cannot think of one thing that could have made this experience better. Another special shoutout to Vida and Irene, who were both spectacular and worked so well together. Already looking forward to many more CW experiences! thank you for a great week.

Walking and dining with fellow travelers was an exceptional experience for us. From the beautiful vistas to the gourmet meals our every desire was fulfilled. Learning about the culture from our knowledgeable guides was an added bonus.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!

We had an amazing time on this trip and could not have been happier with our decision to take our first ever group tour with Country Walkers. Everything about our trip was seamless. Our tour guides, Dani 1 and Dani 2, were knowledgeable, mature, funny and amiable, each in his own way, and added greatly to the trip/experience. Their local knowledge of culture, food, people, history was unmatchable. We had deep trust in them, and we knew that although everything seemed to go smoothly, they were constantly working behind the scenes to adjust plans due to weather, changes in schedule, etc. They made it look easy, but we knew it was not. Of course the hiking was nice, the views and location fantastic. The food was sumptuous and always different, so we sampled many things and felt we got exposed to all kinds of traditional Croation fare. The wine and grappa were always flowing generously. The eating locations themselves were unique. We heard rumors that this tour was being regrouped or cancelled and were quite surprised as everyone in our group seemed quite happy indeed. It would be a shame to lose these fantastic guides/guys.
