This was our first VBT tour - the cycling, scenery and support from Andrej was excellent. Unfortunately, the value for the accommodations was lacking. Two out of three hotels were not what we would have expected for the cost. While we thoroughly enjoyed Croatia and the cycling, we will be looking for alternative tour operators in the future.

This was our 2nd VBT tour and we were highly disappointed. The rides were not easy and in some cases unsafe. Two hotels were great; the other two were dirty, had horrible accommodations, and lacked customer service. Move-on days were not well defined nor easy to do. The local host was nice and informative.

A magnificent biking trip that reveals why the Dalmation coast is so beloved.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our Croatia: Split & the Dalmatian Islands bike-&-boat trip was nothing short of magical — and that’s largely thanks to our incredible guides, Julian, Peter, and Matiya. From Day 1, they set the tone: welcoming, knowledgeable, and always enthusiastic. Julian had a gift for weaving in little local stories and historical tidbits that brought each stop to life. Matiya was our technical guru — ensuring bikes were tuned, giving helpful route tips, and always ready with encouragement when hills got steep. Peter’s warm spirit and attentive care made everyone feel comfortable, whether helping with logistics, meal plans, or just chatting about hidden gems off the beaten path. The itinerary was spectacular: biking across islands, stopping at olive farms, wine tastings, savoring traditional Croatian dishes, and swimming in turquoise bays — the variety was perfect. The balance between active days and relaxing evenings on the yacht was just right. What truly made this trip shine was how seamless it all felt. The guides anticipated needs before we knew we had them, smoothed over any bumps with humor and grace, and created a sense of camaraderie in the group. They turned a scenic journey into a deeply personal experience. If you want to see Croatia in its most beautiful, authentic form — and be led by guides who make every moment better — this is the trip to take. Huge thanks to Julian, Peter, and Matiya for making everything unforgettable.

This was an absolutely delightful experience. I am very impressed with VBT's way of supporting the local economy by hiring local guides, and setting up dinners with locals. Our hotels were great, the guides were wonderful, and i learned so much about local culture and history. Our guides, Mario and Neven, are just wonderful people and so helpful fun to be around.

This was a fantastic trip taken at the perfect time of the year in September. We were able to ride, swim and dine in gorgeous settings every day. The chance to meet the locals in their homes for dinners and to hear of their lives in Croatia was priceless. We were very fortunate to have two excellent guides in Nevenka and Natasha; they were both so knowledgeable and accommodating, we couldn't have asked for better leaders!

From having caring and knowledgeable guides to great companions, beautiful hikes, great places to eat and stay, it was a wonderful trip.

This was a wonderful trip to start traveling again! Even with lots of rain at the start, we had beautiful scenery and good temperatures. The group was wonderfully good natured, and the guides were fantastic. Irena and Matej knew so much about both countries in terms of geography and history and culture! They went, well, literally above and beyond? The castle wasn't even on the itinerary, and now I know all the best gelaterias in the area. I look forward to making more memories and friends on a future Country Walkers adventure.

I have been on multiple bicycle and walking adventures and this was one of the best. The guides were exceptional. They were from Croatia and they did a great job leading us on challenging walks every day and, at th4e same time, educating us on their country. The hotels where we stayed were very nice and well located for our walks and for us to spend free time. The morning breakfast and other meals were excellent. I would highly recommend the Croatia - Dalmation Coast Adventure to my friends and anyone who is relatively physically fit. A fantastic adventure!!!

This walking tour was awesome. The different venues, hikes and lodging was all terrific . The single factor that made the trip so good, were the two Guides. Dani and Dani were so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and their trips to lunches and meals and wine tasting, at various venues were remarkable. Getting to know some of the locals at these venues, and visiting places off the beaten path, were one of the high points, in my view.
