Starting in Lisbon, you’ll pedal deep into the cork forests and charming, white-washed villages of Alentejo. In the quaint riverside hamlet of Pomarão, you’ll even have the rare pleasure of standing with one foot in Spain and the other in Portugal—with each foot in a different time zone! Our local Trip Leaders will take you through the dramatic landscape of Campo Branco to discover the ancient Moorish village of Mértola. Then, take a delightful cruise on the Guadiana River into the Algarve region.
