Acadia National Park

Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone, often regarded as the world’s first national park, gives unparalleled access and insight into the largest concentration of geothermal features in the entire world. Grand Teton National Park
Located just 10 miles down the John D. Rockefeller Parkway from the south entrance of Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park is home to one of the most iconic mountain vistas in the country. VBT travelers will explore the trails that surround the serene Jenny Lake on day 2 of our Yellowstone & Grand Teton: Walking America’s First National Park vacation.
Saguaro National Park & Tumacacori National Historical Park
Travelers on our new Arizona: Saguaro National Park & the Sonoran Desert biking tour will explore 2 National Park Service sites. Tumacacori National Historical Park preserves the ruins of three Spanish missions that were founded by Jesuits and dates back to the 1700s. At the end of the tour, enjoy gorgeous cycling routes through Saguaro National park, which is home to the iconic saguaro cactus.
Cape Cod National Seashore
If biking by the ocean is a passion of yours, join us on a lovely rail trail ride through the protected Cape Cod National Seashore on our Cape Cod & Martha’s Vineyard bicycling vacation. You’ll bask in the ocean scenery before stopping to learn about the area at the Salt Pond Visitor Center.
Fort Sumter National Monument
On our Charleston to Savannah: A Southern Reel tour, travelers will bike to and explore Fort Moultrie—part of Fort Sumter National Monument. This historic fort is made up of a series of citadels on Sullivan’s Island that were constructed out palmetto logs—hence South Carolina’s nickname—and Edgar Allen Poe was once stationed here.
Natchez Trace Parkway & Vicksburg National Military Park
Travelers on our Mississippi: The Natchez Trace tour enjoy lovely rides along sections of the Natchez Trace Parkway, which follows the 440 mile eponymous path that was created by Native Americans and used for centuries thereafter by explorers, traders and immigrants. They’ll also enjoy a day delving deeper into American Civil War history on a bike ride through the Vicksburg National Military Park, which preserves the site of the Battle of Vicksburg.
Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve
If you opt for our Florida’s Historic Coast biking tour, you’ll enjoy a few different aspects of the sprawling Timucuan Ecological and Historical Preserve just outside Jacksonville. Trade your bike for a kayak to get uplcose to salt marsh wildlife like the great blue heron, bald eagle, otter, and dolphin. You’ll also stop to tour some beautiful old estates within the park like the Ribault Club and Kingsley Plantation.
