Constructing a trip which meets the expectations of all members of the group is a daunting task; nonetheless, VBT's meticulous planning - of routes, accommodations, meals, and cultural activities - achieved the perfect balance. Every day, each of us could choose how much time we wanted to ride. The van was always an option, and group members respected each other's choices with understanding. Riding through forests, along rivers, and in the cobblestoned streets of ancient villages filled me with joy. The accommodations were varied to appeal to different preferences, but all were excellent - comfortable, clean, spacious, and chosen with care. The meals offered choices and were always delicious and plentiful. I also appreciated having opportunities to choose places to eat on our own, and our guides' recommendations were helpful. Home-hosted meals, private tours of points of interest, and time to explore on our own were available. All of the above was complemented by the care and competence of our VBT guides who ensured that the planning became a glorious and memorable reality.
