Packed with travelers’ comments, these newly produced videos display cultural discovery moments, Trip Leaders in action, and the outstanding quality and unbeatable value of VBT vacations

BRISTOL, VT—VBT Bicycling and Walking Vacations has unveiled its first round of newly produced vacation videos on its website, www.vbt.com. An average of a minute and a half in length, these colorful videos capture the tastes, smells, and sounds of each destination, as shown in the heartfelt reactions of VBT travelers themselves.

“Hearing directly from our travelers is the best way to get an understanding of the quality and value of the VBT experience,” VBT president Gregg Marston said. “We have made every effort in producing these videos to put the traveler front and center. Any traveler considering one of our vacations can literally feel the joy of discovery on the faces and in the voices of our travelers. They always say it best.”

The first group of videos includes Tuscany by the Sea, a 10-day bicycling vacation to Orvieto, Giglio Island, Magliano, Rome, and more; Heart of Europe: Bike & Barge, a 12-day bike & barge vacation to Luxembourg, France, and Germany; The Amalfi Coast & Capri, a 10-day walking vacation to Pompeii, Capri, Ravello, Positano, and more; and Vermont: Champlain Valley & Islands, a 6-day bicycling vacation to the Champlain Islands, Burlington, Shelbourne, Fort Ticonderoga, and more.

“Our website is increasingly becoming a virtual home for our travelers, and we want their voices to be heard,” Marston said. “More and more prospective travelers will be making their travel decisions based on what they see and hear on the Internet, and that will always be to VBT’s advantage.”

“No one makes a stronger and more appealing case for the outstanding quality and value of our vacations than our travelers, and we are proud to put them front and center in all of our video productions.”

In the Tuscany by the Sea video, viewers will see the lush vineyards, aqua waters, and warm, inviting hills of one of Europe’s most iconic landscapes. From grapes bursting with flavor in your mouth to the golden sheen of locally produced olive oil drizzled on your fresh salad, the unforgettable warmth and serenity of Tuscany is on display during this 10-day bicycling vacation.

In the video for Heart of Europe: Bike & Barge, you’ll see how travelers make the most of every mile along the beautiful Moselle River, as it meanders through Luxembourg, France, and Germany on this 12-day bike & barge vacation. Travelers enjoy the benefit of unpacking just once and having the barge be their home to return to after a day of discovery and bicycling at the pace that’s just right for you.

Lace up your comfortable hiking boots and discover The Amalfi Coast & Capri on a 10-day walking vacation. As you and your fellow travelers walk the narrow paths that curl among the stunning cliffs above the sea, you’ll share a timeless scenic vista while benefiting from the cultural connections prompted by your experienced local Trip Leaders. “I had no idea how much I could learn by being there,” one traveler says, as the stunning cliffs provide a frame for her joy and enthusiasm.

Finally, the video for Vermont: Champlain Valley & Islands, a 6-day bicycling vacation shares rich discoveries among the emerald necklace of mountains that grace the Lake Champlain region. You’ll kayak crystal-clear waters, savor tradition New England cuisine, and stay in local boutique inns that glow with charm and hospitality.

“Our website is a place where our travelers share their stories with others, as they describe the sensory experiences that create lasting memories,” Marston said. “Anyone who is considering travel and discovery with VBT can now see and hear for themselves from those who have delighted in our vacations. By producing these brief yet dramatic videos, we’ve provided another way to learn from those who know best—our travelers.”
