Positions Currently Available at our Bristol, VT Headquarters
VBT DIRECTOR OF WORLDWIDE OPERATIONS
The
position reports directly to the President. Responsible for overseeing all
ground operations, assets and air operations for the worldwide programs of VBT
Bicycling Vacations, including leader recruitment efforts, and the hiring and
training of worldwide leaders. Responsibilities also include the
oversight of all assets and technical aspects of the programs, such as van
procurement, bicycle purchases, and the associated maintenance and logistics
for efficient deployment of the assets. This position will also be responsible
for managing the experienced air team, directing the annual operating calendar,
operations budgets, quality reporting and operations database. Requirements:
tour operator experience, strong excel computer skills; knowledge of SQL
database; leadership skills, systems knowledge, ability to function in a
fast-paced environment, and willingness to travel.

Senior Travel Agent
VBT's in-house travel department requires a senior travel agent
with 3-7 years of experience.

proven knowledge in contract negotiations and maintenance

knowledge of international and domestic airlines and routings

proficient with a GDS

and written skills are required.

Telephone Sales Associate
Responsible for converting incoming and outgoing calls into reservations for
our worldwide deluxe bicycling vacations and maintaining confirmed
reservations. The perfect candidate has an enthusiasm for travel and a desire
to learn about history, wine, and unique discovery in our 30 tour locations.
Past sales experience is a plus. FT and PT positions.
