For a small city, Amsterdam packs a very large cultural and artistic punch.

A truly inspiring gallery shows the works of this Dutch master chronologically – allowing you to graphically see the different tones of his work, which reflected both the artist’s state of mind and the contemporary influences on his work. You can see the dark tones of Dutch Traditionalist influence to his bright, colorful works of his later life when he was in France and being influenced by the Impressionists.

This was the home of the Dutch master and contains furniture, art and other items from the period when he resided here. This is the house where his son was born and where his wife died. Also, many of his most famous masterpieces were created here.
