Weather & Climate

Winter in Vermont can be variable, with snow falling as early as Thanksgiving. The ski trails are typically prepared by mid-December and in peak condition by January. Several of our destinations have snowmaking equipment, giving us the best opportunity possible for outstanding conditions. Be sure to dress for a variety of conditions, including cold, precipitation, wind or sunshine.
