Weather & Climate
The weather on Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard is comparatively mild during
our operating season but subject to change at a moment’s notice. The temperature
swing from day to day, and even within a day can be dramatic. Spring and fall
can offer warm days and cool nights. Autumn stretches longer into the year here
than it does inland due to the moderating Atlantic Ocean. Summer is generally
warm, with the highest recorded temperatures occurring in the month of July.
Rain is a possibility anytime during the year, but slightly more likely in the
months of August and October. The following chart of average temperatures in
Edgartown will help you to prepare for your tour.
