Deadline Extended!
Help
protect the
Costa Rican Rainforest
when you travel with VBT in
2008 and 2009
At VBT, we’re concerned about environmental conservation — it's
one reason why we chose to see the world by bicycle, not tour bus. And for a
limited time, when you book a 2008 or 2009 VBT
Costa Rica vacation, we'll sponsor an acre of Costa
Rican rainforest in your name through Nature Conservancy’s Adopt an Acre
program. Adopt an Acre® is a program of The Nature Conservancy that
provides critical funds for rainforest protection and restoration. This year,
Adopt an Acre will support Costa Rica’s endangered Osa Peninsula.
Adopt
an Acre of Rainforest through the Nature Conservancy when you book a 2008 or 2009 VBT
Costa Rica vacation!
When you Adopt an Acre through VBT and The Nature Conservancy,
you will receive:
-
Personalized certificate with signature photo
of the Osa Peninsula commemorating your generocity;
-
Colorful fact sheet
about the Osa rainforests;
-
Nature Convervancy Magazine subscription to keep you informed all
year long about this project and the many other places the Conservancy is
working to protect around the world. (Plus, we'll rush the current magazine
issue along with your personalized certificate!)
VBT’s moderate
Adventure Costa Rica vacation lets you pedal through this diverse
living landscape at your own pace, with full van support right behind whenever
you need it. Seek out colorful birds and butterflies, monkeys, frogs and
lizards. Ride alongside natural wonders, like rare tropical flowers and
tumbling waterfalls, right up close. Bike and hike on the active Arenal
Volcano. Take a peaceful boat safari, or an exhilarating zip line ride through
the treetops. Then, head back to your comfortable hotel for some fresh Costa
Rican cuisine and a renewing night’s rest. And don’t forget to extend your
vacation — and your value — when you book an optional trip extension to
Panama or
Manuel Antonio!
