Masseria Montelauro, Salento, Italy

Discover the wild beauty of Salento from this antique farmhouse set amidst gardens and groves, just a few miles from Otranto. Built in 1878, the masseria has been restored to reflect its traditional style with natural stone and high vaulted ceilings. Each of the 27 air-conditionedrooms has private garden access and a television, minibar, safe, and private bath. There is a lovely swimming pool in the inner court.

Your home on the Moselle River is the Sailing Home, a comfortable, two-deck motor passenger barge featuring 12 twin bedded cabins, each with private bath and individual climate control. The barge has a four-member crew to serve you, including a talented chef who prepares all our delicious meals using fresh local ingredients. In service since April 2001, the barge has a comfortable salon and bar, and a sundeck at the bow.
